Test before you commit
Each session tests an edition's rules against real table play. Print a prototype, launch an online room, or start with your own copy. Notes from one table help the next designer and the next player.
Read the edition's rules and any errata first. Note the player count and setup you used so your report can be compared with others.
Describe what happened at the table, where players hesitated, and which rule caused confusion. A clear account of a moment is more useful than a single verdict on whether the game was fun.
Print, play, or log in
Download the current prototype cards and boards for table testing. Each file notes the edition version it matches.
Open a Tabletopia room to play a current edition with friends at a distance. Rooms reflect the latest rules on this site.
Use Tabletop Simulator for a fuller board setup with shuffling and hidden hands. Ask in the community for a shared save file.
Share what you find
Use these three steps to send a focused report. Include the edition, the number of players, and the moment that needs attention.
Name the published or in-development edition and the version of the rules or prototype you used.
Record player count, playing time, and the rule or component that caused hesitation or confusion.
Submit a suggestion or a playtest report. Clear, specific notes get the most attention and help the design move forward.
